Hi, I am 10 days post op BBL procedure. My back rolls have always been very pronounced, that is why I decided to get this procedure. My back rolls are still there even though the surgeon said he had sucked all the fat out. I do believe him but I don't understand why they are so prominent still. I have seen other ladies with back rolls and after liposuction they have none. Please help on how to get rid of them. I have been using a firming lotion. Thanks!

Answer: How do I get rid of the back rolls after liposuction? Back rolls are a difficult thing to deal with from a PS standpoint. The indentations or valleys between the excess fat or rolls is actually an area of adherence. Liposuction cannot break that adherence up 100%, so even after aggressive liposuction where all of the excess fat is removed, those indentations are present although not as prominent. Give it some time as 10 days is still early so you will definitely see more improvement, but be aware that they will not go away 100%.

Answer: Back rolls after lipo Excellent Question!!!Love your question. You look great. With my patients, I emphasize the need to keep pressure on your waistline and back consistantly as your PostOp edema and swelling decrease. Your body will fill up any low pressure space with fluid if you do not have enough pressure to push your skin against the muscle against your back and waistline. If you were my patient, I would recommend you, to place a waist-shaper over your garment and add Lipo foam between your skin and garment to add pressure over your back folds.Wish you well through your recovery!Dr McAdoo
