Thank you for your question, it is a very common one.Medical insurance won't cover a procedure that isn't considered medically necessary. Cosmetic surgery such as BBL and TT are considered cosmetic, and therefore aren't going to be covered. If you are interested in these procedures, I recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Meridian health plan will not pay for cosmetic procedures. A BBL, liposuction, and tummy tuck are not considered medically necessary.
Since these procedures are not treating a medical condition, no health care plan will cover them. These are paid for out of your pocket.
