Post-Rhinoplasty scar tissue build up, kenalog 10 or 40?

Hi! I did my revision rhinoplasty about 2 months ago and I'm having some scar tissue build up in the upper part of the nose(where my bump used to be) My doctor injected kenalog 10 in the area and the scar tissue went away for a week then "came back". This was 4.5 week ago, should I ask the doctor to try with Kenalog 40?

I find steroid injections to be useful on a monthly basis.  40 mg/cc sometimes gives better results but with increased risk of post injection depression which usually resolves on its own

Multiple surgeries on the nose may result in unpredictable scar tissue formation that can be unsightly. It's not uncommon for repeat steroid injections to be required. You should discuss this with your Operating Surgeon.

It really depends upon what's causing the issue  with the thickness of the skin, and the severity of the poly beak deformity. We use both in our practice and sometimes even mix the two
