Six months ago, I had butt implants done, I am wondering is pain still typical or could there be a problem, that needs attention

I felt like i was recovering well two months after the surgery, but for a while now over a month now, i have been having pain in the butt, when walking and sleeping. While in the shower, my butt feels sore and tender to the touch, and the pain then gets aggravated sleeping and walking.

Pain six months after buttock implants is not common.  I would strongly recommend discussing this with your operating surgeon to determine whether it is a variation of prolonged healing, or implant positioning , or capsular contracture. Glad to help.

At this stage of your recovery, you should not have any pain or discomfort.  You should go to your surgeon for a complete in person evaluation.  The right surgeon will listen to your concerns and go over your options.  Be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known in the community for it.

Pain is usually an indication of something wrong.  Infections, fluid collection, and shifting implants can cause pain or discomfort. If the implants are under the muscle there could be musculoskeletal problems or nerve impingements.See your surgeon!

How soon after BBL can you get butt implants?

37 days after butt implants and still have an opened incision. What is the solution? Do they need to be removed?

Pain in low back and left butt down in back of leg. I received butt implants intramuscular about 4 years ago.
