3 months after extended tummy tuck and my FUPA area is swollen. What can I do about it? I called my doctor so many times (Photo)

Hi there. It is difficult to tell from the photos but it does seem you have a some persistent swelling and puffiness at your surgical site. Your surgeon should have talked to you about the limited results that can be achieved with the amount of fat and tissue you have. 
For patients with your body type, I recommend a period of weight loss to maximize results. I then stage the surgery, with the first part being liposuction. The second stage is the tummy tuck. This allows me to be more aggressive with tummy tuck and achieve a better overall contour. 
At 3 months, the majority of the swelling should be resolved. Sometimes you can have persistent swelling if there are problems with lymphatic drainage, and massage can help this problem. To really address your surgical questions of what can be done to fix this, you would need to be examined in person.

Thank you  for your pictures.  I would recommend waiting an additional 3 months before considering an additional procedures.  Liposuction of your mons pubis would improve your contour.  Best wishes

never do another surgery until the issues with the first are resolved.  it takes 6-12 months for swelling to go away in the suprapubic area be patient

Thank you for your question and photos. You should expect to have swelling for three to six months following tummy tuck surgery. Use of a properly fitted compression garment will help decrease the length and severity of the post-operative swelling. As the swelling decreases, the contour of your abdomen, flanks, and hips will dramatically improve. Please follow your plastic surgeons specific advice regarding your level of physical activity. Hi and thanks for the question and photos. It looks like liposuction should fix the problem with the excess fat of your mons pubis (fupa). This happens somewhere with tummy tuck and ideally should be addressed at the time of surgery. Best of Luck- Dr Hardy...

I would wait several more months to see how things heal and to see if some of what you are seeing is swelling. If it is not swelling, then perhaps liposuction or skin excision might be helpful.
