What is a good brand of post surgical compression garment for tummy tuck/thigh liposuction. My doctor provides binder only, so I need recommendations for a good, well trusted brand.
Answer: Post-Surgical Compression Garment Our office provides our TT/lipo patients with an adjustable compression garment manufactured by Clear Point. The patients like the support it provides to the back and to the abdomen. Answer: Tummy Tuck - Post Op Compression? Thank you for your question. I recommend wearing a compression garment for 6 weeks following tummy tuck surgery. Marena makes excellent quality post operative support garments. You should also follow your plastic surgeon's advice regarding level of physical activity and use of a compression garment. Answer: Post-surgical compression garment. I have used Marena garments for my lipo/tummy tuck patients and they typically love it because it provides a fair amount of compression. Newer garments made by Veronique are also great postop. Hope this helps!

Your surgeon should be able to give you some recommendations for compression garments that will work best for your particular situation. I require my patients to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks (both day and night) following surgery so that the swelling can go down and your abdomen is able to heal properly. After that, anybody shaping garment is fine to wear, but again, your surgeon may have recommendations.
