Is it normal to have a swollen face 4 weeks after tummy tuck?

I had a tummy tuck and lipo almost 4 weeks ago and the first couple of weeks I looked a lot thinner from the face and this past weekend my face got so much rounder and was thinking if this was normal or not ?

Hi.  It would be highly unusual for facial swelling to be related to a tummy tuck and lipo that was done 4 weeks ago.  I would recommend checking with both your plastic surgeon and your primary care provider to be seen in person for appropriate recommendations.  Good luck and take care,Dr. Howell

I would contact your doctor regarding facial swelling after abdominal surgery. I cannot comment on this type of swelling away from the surgery site 4 weeks after surgery on your face.
