Is it normal for my vagina area to still be his swollen? (photos)

Yes, it is not unusual to have swelling in the pubic area as well as bruising after a tummy tuck.  A seroma will add to the swelling in that area as well.  It will go away when the seroma is treated adequately.Seroma is a fluid collection in the area where the tummy tuck was performed.  It does happen even after drains are placed at the time of surgery and then removed later.  It is treated by drawing out the fluid with a needle (does not hurt) and wearing a tight compressive girdle.Please see your surgeon to discuss further.

swelling is a common issue after a tummy tuck, even 7 weeks after the surgery. If you suspect that you might have seroma, I would recommend you to visit your plastic surgeon. In case of seroma, it requires evacuation. A needle can be used and it usually isn't painful.

Swelling below the suture or incision line is not a seroma. Generally the swelling stays for 2-3 months after a tummy tuck due to the fact that while you are up and moving around more gravity pushes the fluid down into that area. In the morning the fluid is less and by the end of the day it gets worse.
