How many massages do i need after a Brazilian Butt Lift?

Hi and thanks for your question. I usually recommend 10 sessions. We accomodate many patients from other areas of the country and internationally. I understand that not everyone can remain in Miami for that period of time. I recommend that they follow up at home with someone knowledgeable.However, if you can only have a few before you depart, it will not affected you negatively. The lymphatic massage is meant as an adjunct to the surgery. They serve to shorten the recovery period by reducing the amount of residual swelling the patient will experience. Relax you will do fine. I suggest my patients try the lymphatic massages 2-3 days after surgery (at least 10 sessions) and to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results.

It usually depends on the patient and how their body reacts to having the procedure done. Usually between 5 and 10 massages will do the trick but you can decide as you go along. 

I do not think that massage is required as a standard for everyone. Some patients may need to massage over areas of firmness, but this is on a case by case basis in my opinion.

Hello, Thanks for your question. I normally recommend at least 5, but if the patient has the time and the budget 10. Another key point I do is leave a small drain, so the inflammatory liquid drains out and the swelling is minimized. There will be some swelling anyways, but most of the liquid will be out, specially with the draining massages during the period when the patient still has the drain. I uploaded a photo of yesterday's patient to show you where the drain is put and how small the incision is (see the web reference).Hope this answers your doubts.
