Always ask your surgeon about this, because he or she may have a different recommendation. Find an expert at BBLs who has good before and after pictures and good reviews.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
It is best not to have any metal, like piercings, on your body during a BBL. I recommend using a temporary plastic piece, though it is best to talk to your plastic surgeon and follow his/her advice.
I think that it is OK to put a plastic retainer in the piercing . It should be fine during the procedure as long as there is not metal. Best to always check with your surgeon.

As long as the incision is not near the piercing it would probably be safe to replace your piercing postop. Best wishes on your recovery.

I prefer that patients wear the cut-out compression garments, but there are some surgeons that do not believe in using garments.
Swelling in your private area is very common after lower abdominal liposuction (which was likely part of your BBL). This should resolve, but if you have concerns, obviously seek advice from your surgeon. You should be examined to make sure that there is not a fluid collection that needs to be...
