Hi. Everyone of us have specific protocols for the aftercare of a BBL. The patients are advised not to sit on their buttocks for 4-6 wees after surgery. Of immediate concern would be the first 4 days or so. Good luck

Body piercings are removed to try to prevent electrical burns during surgery.  A temporary plastic only spacer would work but to be absolutely safe, removing it and replacing after surgery is the best choice.  As long as the incision is not near the piercing it would probably be safe...
