Will my love handles disappear after I heal? I had lipo/BBL 5 days ago. (Photo)

Dear BlackHispanic,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 5 days  post op.
Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.
At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS

Hello Dear.Thanks for your question and provided information as well.I have to say that you are still early on healing process, it is too soon to determine how your results are going to be, swelling  is normal at this moment. I recommend you to wait and keep using your post surgical garment.Good Luck.-

Thanks for posting your picture. It is still to early to judge results. Also , every patient is different on their recovery.  Swelling starts going down at two weeks post op. Be patient. Also , your love handles look ok , the upper rolls still look very swollen. Best wishes. 

I think that you are still swollen and need to allow things to settle down. It is unlikely that those lower bra rolls will disappear as they are most likely loose skin.

At 5 days your are definitely still swollen.  You need to compare to your before and post it to be able to help more.

I believe what you are referring to as the love handles we would call back bra rolls.
The back bra rolls are not caused by excessive subcutaneous fat but rather of skin laxity.
They're often not removed by liposuction though at times can be improved if liposuction of the back is done aggressively.
The love handles are usually just below the waist and it appears this area has been well treated.
It looks like your procedure was well performed.
