4 weeks after BBL, weight up 6 lbs - still swelling?

You are still early post op and there may be residual swelling. I suggest continuing to wear your compression garment to help your body reabsorb the swelling. Please speak with your surgeon if you are concerned.Regards,

Most of the swelling subsides at 6 weeks in most patients, but this may require 6 months or more.Continue to wear your compression garment for two more weeks; limit your salt consumption, and drink no alcohol.  I recommend that my patient take 100 grams of protein (protein shakes work well) per day in the healing phase for the first 6 weeks after surgery.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

You are likely still swollen, and likely not as active as you were likely before surgery. As your body heals, and you go back to your normal activity you are likely to get back to your pre surgical weight.
