Thank you for your questions. You will need a clearance from a heart specialist before considering surgery. And please, if you are planning on traveling overseas for surgery, cancel your plans, find a local board certified plastic surgeon, and be safe....it isn't worth it.Good luck!Dallas R. Hello, thank you for your question, Your board certified plastic surgeon will require a medical clearance from your cardiologist.
Hello and Great Question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist. You would need medical clearance from a cardiologist in order to move forward with a BBL procedure. After you've been given clearance I would recommend you going through with a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure, who can give you further information.I hope that helps! Best of Luck! Matthew J. Nykiel, MD #CoreAesthetic Butt Augmentation Specialist Liposuction Specialist Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Great question! The clearance will need to come from a cardiologist as well as your internist / general physician, the clearance does not come from the surgeon. It all really depends on what is going on, no one can really answer that without seeing your actual EKG.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dear 0911320Ti,You will probably need a cardiologist clearance in order to be a candidate for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
somehow I get the sense that you're planning to travel for your procedure and possibly overseas. If that's the case I would warn you against this. Patient did not appreciate the importance of proper consultations, the complications actually do happen nor the number of people we need revisions afterwards. I could be wrong and perhaps you simply got an EKG and lab tests because your primary doctor thought it was a good idea. If that's the case then you already said because your doctor should be reviewing the EKG results with you. Asking plastic surgeons on real self to assess your viability for surgery is a poor version of medical care. I'm guessing I'll be the only provider to answer your post. I did so because I'm a caring person and you seem a bit misdirected. If you're not done so you should have in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. The Doctor Who ordered the test should be there on who reviews the results with you That's generally how things go. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Thanks for your question. You can get a BBL without fat transfer to the hips area. However, it is difficult to tell what can be achieved for you without reviewing your pictures. I suggest submitting your pictures for an evaluation and consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon who has ex...
None of us can predict what decisions insurance companies will make regarding coverage for BR surgery or what documentation will sway their decision. BRs which are medically necessary (i.e. you suffer back, shoulder, and neck "pain" with DOCUMENTED medical attention over a period of a YEAR) are...
Hello, Thank you for your question. It is unusual to have symptoms related to your surgery appear four years later. It may be related to irritated nerves but it is impossible to say or properly advise you without an assessment, history and physical exam. I recommend following up with a board ...
Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question You can still have a BBL with the lipoma in place, it will not affect the surgery nor harm your results. If you like, you can have the lipoma removed if it is causing issues at the same time as the BBL....
Hello. Good question. Yes, it is safe to combine both surgeries at the same time. Please contact a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question! Taking phentermine in general does not disqualify you from having surgery. For my patients having any procedure, I advise that they stop taking weight loss medications 2 weeks prior to and 3 weeks post surgery. I recommend discussing specific medication questions ...
