I have a broad face with a wide masculine jaw. Can jaw line implants at the angle of the mandible help me achieve this look?

It would be very hard to give you opinion without clinical exam or series of photos. In general, reduction of  jaw angle bone and overlying muscle (masseter muscle) will create narrowing of the square, masculine jaw . This can be achieved, in part, with selective Botox injections (in very experienced hands, do not go to a "injector") and/or bone reduction of jaw angle.You should seek a consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed evaluation and discuss your options. Jaw angle implants will not help you achieve a more narrow looking jawline if it is already wide and masculine. They will likely make it look even wider or at least provide more width at the back of the jaw. You would have to submit pictures and have computer imaging done to help make that determination. Angela Jolie has a very strong jawline and would not be considered sleek and feminine even though she is quite attractive.

  Hi, I have performed mnay facial shaping procedures, over the past 30 years, using dermal fillers or facial implants (cheek, chin).  If you have a prominent jaw line and a squared shaped face, this is a relatively masculine face.   Following the beauty principles
outlined in my book on face and body beauty, women look the most feminine,
youthful and beautiful with heart shaped faces.  Heart shaped faces have cheeks
that are full and round in the front.  Cheek augmentation using a dermal filler
(I prefer Restylane Lyft) or with cheek implants for a permanent enhancement
will create full, round cheeks anteriorly that will feminize the entire face.  If excess facial fat surrounds the cheeks, this is removed for further shaping of the cheeks.  Conversely, having any augmentation to a square face including jaw implants (have too many unwanted side effects for me to offer) would only further masculinize your face IMVHO.Hope this helps.
