Will Dysport effect last less if I get laser resurfacing some 1.5 months after Botox injection?

I appreciate your concern, but I assure you that a laser or microneedling treatment at that time will not affect your Dysport in any way. Dysport targets the muscles that are responsible for certain facial lines, while the other treatments create micro-injuries in the skin to boost collagen production. Hi,Thank you for your question.Laser resurfacing does not affect the longevity of dysport. 1.5 months is plenty of time to wait between treatments. Typically the uptake for Botox/Dysport occurs within 24 hours so it should not be a problem.Hope this helps!

You absolutely may have Laser Resurfacing 1 month post Dysport. Dysport will fully settle in about 10-14 days, so it's safe to proceed with other treatments any time after that. I think it's a great idea to combine injectables with resurfacing treatments for the optimal result. Good luck. 

Thank you for your question.  Typically, we do combination therapy for facial rejuvenation.  You are able to have laser resurfacing or microneedling after your Dysport treatment without any issues.  

I would see no problem having laser resurfacing done 1.5 months after treatment with Dysport to the area.  The laser resurfacing should have no effect on the Dysport results.  

there is no affect with using toxins combined with lasers, fillers, or microneedling RF. I suggest only getting a combination treatment with an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

A RF microneedling or laser resurfacing will not affect the results or longevity of the Botox or Dysport at this point.  The neuromodulator products are working on the deeper muscles of the face and are not specifically working on the skin layers, which are targeted with the RF microneedles or lasers.  Feel free to ask your treating physician, but the 2 depths, layers and targets make it ok.

There will be no adverse effects if you get treated with laser or microneedling 1.5 months after your Botox or Dypsort injections. There is no procedure that will affect your injections at 1.5 months. A related question is "Can I get both Botox/Dysport on same day as laser or microneedling?" I would wait at least a few days to get any energy based device treatment after Botox or Dysport because there is a possibility of spreading the neurotoxin. The increased spread is related to edema in the area of injection. If the treatments are in separate areas or no edema is expected in the injection area, both can be done on same day.

Laser Resurfacing will have no bearing on the longevity of your Dysport. This also applies to micro needling, micro needling with radio frequency, and aggressive chemical peels. None of those other modalities of treatment will effect Dysport longevity. 

There will be no impact on the longevity of your Botox or Dysport treatment if you have laser resurfacing one and half months later.  The same is true of microneedling.
