Can CoolSculpting work on knees and lower legs?

Hello, Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting can address knew fat off label, however there is not a hand piece for the calf/lower leg area. Please consult with a local physician in person to determine the best course of action.Good luck!

The CooMini applicator from Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting system does a great job of contouring smaller areas, like the knees. Depending on the configuration of your lower legs, CoolMini or another applicator can remove excess fat and shape your legs. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can determine if you’re a candidate for CoolSculpting.

We have had great success in CoolSculpting the knees, calves, and ankles with CoolSculpting. Keep in mind not every patient is an ideal candidate for this treatment, so an in-person consultation is recommended beforehand. Also, these are considered "off label" areas, so you will need to seek out a practitioner who has experience treating these areas. Best of luck!

While there is not a coolsculpting applicator designed to treat the lower legs, the cool mini or cool petite applicator can often be used to target small deposits of fat around the knees.

Yes, Coolsculpting can be effective for those areas as can SculpSure. As we like to say, "If you can squeeze it, we can freeze it". However, that is in reference to fat. If the areas have a significant amount of sagging skin, you may want to combine your body contouring treatment with a skin tightening treatment such as Ultherapy.
