400cc to 600cc HP - Recovery time?

Question

My first BA was with 325cc and 400cc Moderate Plus Mentor Implants. It took me 1 whole week to do most things by myself, my boyfriend had to help me get up, wash me etc. So it was really bad.. Next week i am going to have new implants, probably of 600cc and High Profile. How will recovery be for me? Will it be as painfull as the first one or less? Thank you!

Thank you for the question. The type of revisionary breast surgery  that you describe is generally  associated with very minimal recovery time/discomfort, compared to first-time breast augmentation surgery.  This is because the submuscular pocket has already been dissected/stretched.I hope this helps.

Hello yvonne100888,In general, patients recover quicker and with less pain after a second augmentation.  However, everyone is different and it is difficult to predict how you will respond.  On one hand, you already have a pocket created (although it will need to be enlarged) and skin stretched so your pain should be less.  On the other, you are having rather large implants placed which can make recovery and potential complications greater.  I would revisit this with your surgeon to get his/her advice.  Good luck!

If just an exchange recovery should be less than a week. Please chose the doctor and clonic more carefully.
