My nose feels weird, like I had local anesthesia there, could something be wrong?

I had my nose job 8 days ago, and yesterday I took my cast off. But I have this weird sensation in my nose, like having local anesthesia there,feels like I had nerve problems there. I am kind of afraid of any nerve damage! , when I move my face to laugh, smile, Whistle etc.. it feels awkward. Please tell me what is happening and If it's something wrong.

It is normal to have blunted sensation of your nose, especially the tip, after surgery.  This will persist for a few months; however it will improve significantly over a few weeks as swelling resolves.

What you described is within normal limits.  Expect numbnees to last several weeks. It is usually temporary.

When the skin is lifted from the nasal bones and cartilage structures the small nerves are severed so that the nasal skin is numb. Almost always the sensation returns to normal. Postoperative swelling can also cause some altered sensation with facial movements around the nose. What you're experiencing are is completely normal. Hope that helps
