I have noticed my nose progressively getting crooked over the last ten years or so. I find it more noticible in pictures but I am starting to feel quite self-concious about it. My dermatologist suggested I leave it alone as surgery might make it worse but I have yet to consult a plastic surgeon about it. Would surgery correct this? I am concerned that it will just keep worsening with time. I've included several pictures.

Hi humptydumpty, Yes a very high nasal dorsum can block breathing. This is called tension tip. The nose has a cery high, thin bump on the bridge and is thinner just below the lower edge of the bones. It is as if the bony and cartilage framework are too big for the skin of the nose causing it...
Your symptoms are unlikely due to the surgery almost 1 week after your rhinoplasty. It may be due to the pain medication which has narcotic effects that might be causing the nausea. Please contact your surgeon and see your regular doctor.

Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on the information you provided, I think that you should give this time. Your nose does not "look" infected, though it does look like you have some swelling that is yet to resolve. Giving this another 6 months to see how...
