Seek out a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon with vast experience dealing with traumatic injuries to the nose. Your photos help us get a better idea of the asymmetry that you are concerned about, but the most important aspect of your situation is time !! If you start to develop a raised painful scar in the area, you may be developing a hypertrophic or keloid scar which may need to be addressed by your chosen surgeon sooner rather than later. If there are no aspects of your healing suggesting a keloid scar, you need to let the area heal for at least 12 to 18 months before a careful history and physical examination performed by an expert will reveal whether anything needs to be done to address your concerns. Happy healing
Thank you for your question.I would advise you to wait at this time as the problem does not appear to be too bad. You should also find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area and get his opinion. All The Best !
Sorry about the dog bite. From the photo (poor quality image though) it does not appear too bad. At this time, with a few months of healing, the best and recommended option is watchful waiting. Do not do anything at this time. It take about 12-15 month for the wound to mature. Most likely it will greatly improve and no future treatment would be needed. If you are concerned, please see a facial plastic surgeon to be evaluated. Don't treat yourself with only internet medical treatment! Be patient!
Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on the information you provided, I think that you should give this time. Your nose does not "look" infected, though it does look like you have some swelling that is yet to resolve. Giving this another 6 months to see how the swelling responds to time is what I would recommend. Good luck!
The photo is unclear. Based on the information you have shared, I would wait a few months until the scars are mature, and hopefully surgery will not be needed.
Hello, Based on your pictures, it seems that your doctor did not do osteotomy. This means that he did not rearrange your nasal bones to fit the new nose after the removal of your dorsal hump. I would get a post op consultation with your original board certified plastic surgeon to find out e...

Click on the "Learn more" link, just below my response, or go here: FacialSurgery.com/RealSelf/RealSelf_TF068.html I lowered that bump. Also, however, I elevated the tip upwards a bit. When a bump is taken down off of a nose, it can make the nose *look* longer, so sometimes it's important to...
