Can pressure from a snorkel mask on my forehead cause any migration problems after botox injection 4 or 5 days ago?

I had botox in forehead 5 days ago, today I am snorkeling/diving with a mask. Can the mask pressure cause any botox migration issues to my eyes ? My doctor said no rubbing my forehead for 3 weeks, which sounds excessive. Does it migrate after the first day after injection?I tis already working in my forehead. Thanks!! I am on vacation and really want to go snorkelling

There should be no issue of Botox migrating after 5 days. Botox sets fairly quickly, just a few hours after injection, and after that you should feel free to resume all daily activities. Have fun snorkeling!

or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have

Thank you for your question. Botox is absorbed by the body within hours after injection to start the process of working on the nerve-muscle junction for its effects.  After 4-5 days it is unlikely that direct pressure over the site of injection would cause any Botox migration.

While there does seem to be at least a short period of time required for Botox to be fully taken up into the nerve endings, 4 or 5 days is plenty of time for this to have occurred.  I would not worry about migration of Botox at this point.
