I know I'm supposed to be swollen but my pubis is really big.. my biggest concern is that all this fluid will make my skin look loose after ..
Answer: It would be unusual for postoperative swelling after liposuction to create loose skin. Loose skin is a consideration after liposuction with or without swelling. However swelling by itself is not going to stretch the skin and create the problem.

Answer: Fluid and Swelling After Mons Pubis Liposuction I typically put in drains when very aggressive for this so that the skin tightens well post procedure. Compression is very important for you and a foam compression under the tight outer compression is essential. Lymphatic massage and venus legacy or velashape treatments should be started to enhance the skin tightening. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Enlarged mons after tummy tuck Not to worry, the skin will not be likely affected. Only if you let it go untreated or do too much activity. If there is a seroma then your plastic surgeon may consider aspirating the fluid. Definitely restrict your activity ( patient often do way too much if they feel good) and wear compression garments. There may be some recurrence; but after 1 or 2 aspirations, the body will resolve it on its own. Go see your surgeon and be patient, you will have a terrific result!

Answer: Mons pubis lipo 6 days post op and I have a lot of fluid. Will this make my skin look loose when it goes? Thank you for your question. It is uncommon, but discrete fluid collections can occur after liposuction. If this has happened, you may benefit from a small office procedure by your surgeon to help remove it. If this is normal postoperative swelling, then wearing your compression garment will help minimize the swelling, but it will take time until it completely resolves.
