Mini BBL Heart Shape - is this possible? (photos)

Question

I am 5”7 weigh 130lbs. I’d like my lower hips, almost the “saddlebag” area to be as wide as my shoulders, two inches wider. And a little volume to my upper cheeks. I have a square shaped but and am wanting a heart shaped one, is this possible?

Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for the BBL. The BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the upper arms, chin, etc. Depending on your desired results, you may be asked to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience with Skinny BBLs and clean credentials. Hi. It is hard to evaluate the amount of fat that you have available for a BBL. You might need to gain weight for good BBL results. Just keep in mind that the weight needs to be maintained. The best weight for stable BBL results is a stable weight. 
Even if you don’t gain any weight, all fat that you have in your abdomen, back, sides, flanks, waist and even inner thighs can be harvested for fat transfer to hips. I feel that you need a little lats as well, so some should go to you lats. I’M SURE THIS WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE…..the question is how much of a difference and if your going to be satisfied.
I don’t think it will be enough to look like your “wish pics”, but it will still be a noticeable change in your overall shape. 
Gaining weight before or even after surgery will help. The transferred fat will behave like it did before. So if you had lipo on your waist, for example, and you usually gain weight in your love handles, you will now gain that weight in the fat grafted areas…your butt and hips.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Yes , maybe. Your BMI is so low, 20.36, that you have limiter=d fat to offer for transfer at best only 500 cc's. I offer the "COMPOSITE BBL" It is a combination of lipo with what ever fat I can transfer along with 20-40 vials of Sculptra injections. Fees from $12,000-$18,000, depends upon the # of vials needed. You main issues are your lateral buttocks or hip dips.

In order to improve lateral hip fullness and provide the upper buttock fullness you are looking for, you would most benefit from high definition VASER liposuction coupled with fat grafting to the buttocks commonly known as a BBL. Combining these two treatments can reshape your buttocks and hips to your desired heart shape.

The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. As a general statement fat transfer can double the subcutaneous fat layer in any one particular area.

In other words if you’re fat layer is one half inch thick then you can add best create a 1 inch thick fat layer. If the fat layer is one quarter inch thick then you could create a fat layer that’s one half inch thick etc. etc.

To get an idea of how thick your fat layer is take one finger and gently press against your skin until you feel the underlying muscle or bone structure.  doing this is a gentle touch maneuver and does not require pushing it hard.

You’ll most likely recognize that your hip dip has pretty thin fat layer and so imagine that being doubled with one go around a fat transfer.  to get more of a result you’ll have to have several rounds of fat transfer typically spaced out about six months apart. A low BMI patients it may be challenging to harvest and a fat to create this type of outcome and plastic surgeons need to be very focused on not wasting fat asstrategically harvesting fat some more fat can be harvest for future fat transfer procedures in cases that will need multiple sessions.

Delivering consistent high-quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. By far the most important decision is who you were going to have do the procedures.

The outcome of both Liposuction and fat transfer procedures are highly operator dependent.

You will not get what you’re hoping for with a single round of fat transfer and most likely getting something even close to what you have depicted with your stuffed pants is more than you have fat on your body to accomplish.

To get the maximum result will probably require three rounds of fat transfer.  when grafting fat in this area with a goal of maximizing projection the volume added needs to be blended into adjacent areas or the results do not at all look natural.  blending into adjacent areas consumes a lot of fat and this all is part of the equation of challenges.

Defined the most talented and experienced provider I suggest scheduling multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who seem to have a skill and interest in both Liposuction and fat transfer.

During consultations ask providers to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for gluteal and hip fat transfer procedures.  Confirm that after pictures are always taken at least three months from the date of the procedure. Early fat transfer results can look very impressive but are not at all representative of final results.

Read all the reviews on various physician review websites and avoid providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews.

The absence of justified negative reviews is often more important and more telling than an abundance of positive reviews.
