Some patients with more advanced disease may need clearance from a neurologist or may not be candidates for surgery. In most patients with MS, surgery with general anesthesia is well tolerated.

Granted you have been given medical clearance by your neurologist, a BBL performed by a professional and experienced surgeon should not present an issue.

If you have medical clearance then you should be able to get the procedure. I suggest you stay local for elective surgical procedures unless there is no talent in your community they can properly do this procedure for you. Continue scheduling consultations until you find a provider who’s willing to do the procedure that you feel comfortable with.

Delivering consistent high-quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. This includes providers.

In order to get a high-quality outcome and minimize the chance of having a regretful outcome that cannot be corrected I suggest patients make a solid effort at finding the most talented an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon in their community for this procedure.

Multiple sclerosis has a very large spectrum of limitations and early stage disease should not present a particular problem but late stage disease would probably be a contraindication.

Not everybody is a great candidate for the procedure so there are multiple things that need to be reviewed before moving forward.
