Can breast implants cause chest pain/heaviness years later?

In my opinion, this pain is most likely from capsular contracture.  Examination of the breasts by your plastic surgeon is the best option for you.  It is not usual for implants to be painful or heavy years later especially since these are saline implants.  Good luck.ThanksDr Vasisht- South Shore Plastic Surgery

Yes sounds like capsule pain syndrome with nerve entrapment or compression of nerve. After detailed in person examine I might off a non surgical series of injections art the pain trigger area with PRP+NPT. Fee for each injection $800. Otherwise re operation to release the area of internal scarring. 

Dear Joanie- Sadly there are a number of people like you who have pain even yeas after augmentation. In such patients, I have been pleased with the results of what is called a site change. The example below is one such patient. They seem to get immediate relief when they wake up from anesthesia and no longer have the implant under the muscle.
