Hi I had fillers done about 4 months ago and I have had these bubble like blisters on my lips more noticeable when I wear lipstick I had the rep come out from company and was told it's because of my aging I have had fillers before and this has never happened can you advise me what you think I hate them and they are where the needle where put

Thank you for your question and photos. Though diagnosis is always hard from pictures alone, it does appear that you may have some filler that was injected too superficial and is visible. Please return to your injector to have them evaluate you appropriately and they can dissolve it with hyaluronidase if necessary.

I recommend returning to your injector for an evaluation.  It may be that there are pockets of filler that need to be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  An examination will yield more information and a plan of how to best treat your concerns can be determined.

It is a little difficult to really say without a physical examination--it is possible the bumps are from the filler itself which could be treated with hyaluronidase injection to dissolve it, massage, etc.  I would return to see your medical provider that performed the injection if you haven't rather than a rep--reps are not medical providers and should not be providing patients with medical advise of any kind.  Please be sure to always consult and receive treatments from board-certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists for best recommendations regarding these types of treatments. After a detailed IN PERSON lip examination I would recommend Hyaluronidase dissolver injections in a series of 3 sessions using drops only every week. Fee total 3 sessions $1,500.

Thank you for your question.  This appears due to poor technique.  Follow up with your Board Certified Dermatologist for dissolution of the filler with hyaluronidase.  Other potential causes could be biofilm or granuloma formation, again please be properly evaluated.  Regards, Dr. Matt Elias
