29 / red head / fair skin / had first implants 1-13-15 mentor HP saline 250 filled to 275. Apx 3 years after I noticed my scar was up on my implant and not in the crease but they still looked good I thought. 7-11-19 I had a kidney Transplant and gained apx 40-50 lbs and can really see they have bottomed/double bubbled. It’s been almost 9 years so I would like them redone and bigger but I’m nervous to have them bottom out again. What would be the best way to prevent this in my case?
Answer: Correction of double bubble breast implant problem depends on the cause A common cause of double bubble is bottoming out with the implants dropping below the fold but that isn't the only thing. If your implants are under muscle with dual plane, then the cut muscle can adhere to the capsule and create a similar appearance. Sometimes it is both. If the crease pulls up when you flex your pecs, then it is the latter, and may require muscle re-attachment by converting to split muscle or subfascial. Either way, going larger works against the correction of double bubble because of the larger implant diameter.

Answer: Revision I would suggest not going bigger since the additional weight could encourage dropping again before your fold. Going smaller would be more helpful.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Powerful488531, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Bottoming Out / Double Bubble / The Original Internal Bra Good afternoon, You do have some bottoming out, double bubbles, a wide gap and very little upper pole fullness. I address these concerns with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique- I first developed this technique over 20 years ago and today it is the most common revision I perform, at least 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts!
