I had a bbl back in 2017. If I want another round what do I need to do? I weight 110 lbs. Do I need to gain weight for a better outcome?
Answer: If I want another round of BBL, what do I need to do? (Photo) Gaining weight is often counterproductive. If you gain weight that is fat, some of the fat will likely be associated with the buttocks. In almost every case, I do not recommend weight gain prior to a BBL. I think it is better to maintain your stable weight. The thinner patient requires an expert at liposuction to remove as much fat as possible while leaving the skin smooth.Having the BBL done a second time is an option as long as the patient has enough fat to be transferred. The revision implies that there is less fat than the first time, and scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. The percentage of fat survival in the BBL the second time should be about the same as the first. The volume loss occurs over the first 6 weeks or so. After that period of time the volume remains stable assuming weight is maintained. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: BBL revision Dear priss12, most plastic surgeons don't recommend their patients to gain weight prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: If I want another round of BBL, what do I need to do? You can either gain weight, consider implants, or do Sculptra injections. The downside with gaining weight is that you would have to maintain yourself at the new weight even after the BBL. In your case, we are talking about 15-20 lbs. Implants can be placed inside the muscle avoiding the complication often seen on the internet like double bubbles and being able to flip them. Sculptra injections are permanent and safe, but costly at around $5000 per 75cc for each buttock. #StayBeautiful #RealDrWorldWide

Answer: BBL: Round Two Gaining weight for BBL is not recommended. Tt is advised that patients maintain their comfort weight. Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a second Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients, or patients who desire another BBL procedure. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD, FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
