I had a bbl over 3 years ago. As you can see in the photo, there are protruding lumps on either side. On both sides, this area that protrudes is only about 1 inch by 3 inches. My question is, can I use kybella to remove the small piece of protruding fat to get rid of the lumps? I do not want to do another bbl and add more fat.

Answer: Getting Rid of Lumps After BBL In order to achieve perfection, you would require a lift to get rid of the slack. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or Facetime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing.

Answer: Options for BBL revision regardless of what your wishes are the best option for this would be adding fat to the area of a deficit. Alternatively you could have a revision with liposuction of the fact that project above the area of a deficit. Kybella it's not a great treatment in the first place. It is unpredictable and would be prohibitively expensive for what you're trying to achieve. It's possible there is scar tissue or connective tissue bands restricting the area of volume deficit to expand like the surrounding area's. I would follow up with your plastic surgeon who did your BBL and talk to him or her about a revision. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
