If you think the fat died in your buttocks after a BBL, can a faja change my results? Is there anything that can be done a month out, my butt doesn’t look round at the bottom.
Answer: Revision BBL at only one month postop? It is definitely too soon to undergo any revision type procedure. The gold standard amount of waiting time is six months before any revision should be considered. That being said, this is a common dilemma for many post BBL patients. They feel as though they did not get the projection, especially in the mid and lower buttock, they wanted or were promised from BBL. It just does not seem to survive well in these two particular areas. Hence they are now considering going back for a second round. The real question is, why would you repeat the exact same thing again if it did not work the first time? predictable, permanent and stable long term results for buttock/hip enhancement. Glad to help.

Answer: After a BBL, can the fat that might have died be corrected a month out? Having the BBL done a second time is an option as long as the patient has enough fat to be transferred. You will usually need at least 3 months before getting a revision. The revision implies that there is less fat than the first time, and scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. The percentage of fat survival in the BBL the second time should be about the same. It is of paramount importance that the patient follow postoperative instructions to the letter and that the compression garment is worn as instructed. Answer: After a BBL, can the fat that might have died be corrected a month out? Hi. For BBL correction you will need to wait a year after the procedure, to let tissues recover. For the harvested fat to survive in the receptor area, you need to undergo a traditional liposculpture that is the only one to preserve the integrity of the fat cell, and to avoid massages over the buttocks area. Answer: Fixing a BBL Without photos, it is difficult to make an assessment. But yes, a BBL revision can usually be done to help make a correction and get the results you ultimately desire, given enough time following the first operation. If you are a candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) revision, the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or Facetime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD,FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
