i went to my first consutation today, providing some inspo pics. We talked about Motiva implants 400cc high profile under the muscle and crease incision because at 12 years old I had a mastitits and I cannot touch my areola. Everything was fine and I did the 3D simulation which I am going to post here. However in the prize sheet that they gave me, it says mastopexy with implants, which we didn't discuss. For context, I am 24 years old. Is the mastopexy a typo or is it needed?
Answer: Mastopexy with augmentation Hello, thank you for your question. That is exciting you had your first consultation. It really is tough for me to give you advice based on the 3D simulation. It really depends on what your expectations of how lifted you want your breasts to sit on top of the implant. Speak to you plastic surgeon about your ideal look and be sure to bring in some wish pics that closely resemble your body type. Feel free to check out our before and after gallery.

Answer: Breasts Just based on your photos, you do not need the mastopexy or lift. You should do very well with just implants.

Answer: Breast Lift Dear Exquisite572827, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs. Answer: Do I need a mastopexy? Based on the submitted photos you do not need a lift. You should have nice results from an augmentation alone. The mention of a mastopexy may be a typo, but it's best best to check with the surgeon's office as it could impact the quote.

Answer: Mastopexy It's possible that the mention of a mastopexy with implants on the price sheet was a mistake or a miscommunication, especially if it wasn't discussed during your consultation. However, it's also possible that the surgeon may have included a mastopexy in the proposed treatment plan based on the appearance of your breasts and your desired outcome. A mastopexy, also known as a breast lift, is a procedure that lifts and reshapes the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. A mastopexy is often recommended when the breasts are sagging or have lost firmness due to factors such as aging, pregnancy, or weight loss. It's possible that your surgeon may have recommended a mastopexy in addition to implants to achieve the best possible outcome for your breasts. It's important to follow up with your surgeon and clarify the proposed treatment plan, including whether a mastopexy is necessary and what the potential benefits and risks are. This will help you make an informed decision about your breast augmentation and ensure that you have a clear understanding of the procedure and the expected results. Best of luck !
