My 2nd treatment. Not smooth like the 1st, visibly uneven. Been 40 hours since appointment, should I try massaging to even it out or will it settle itself? Is it too late to fix the placement now?

Answer: Unevenness after Volbella in tear trophs Thank you for your question. 40 hours is too early to tell how Volbella will settle into the tear trough area. There can still be bruising and swelling from the injections at this point. It is best to assess the results 1.5-2 weeks post injection. If it is still uneven then, you can determine with your provider if more is needed, or if some needs to be dissolved using hyaluronidase.
