Iwouldliketogeta breast lift done however, my grandma had breast cancer and I heard it skips a generation. If I get a breast lift 1. would the lift make it make it harder to detect breast cancer and 2. would the breast lift in some weird way "cause" breast cancer? Also, my friend told me that what some woman do to avoid the possibly of getting breast cancer, is to have their natural breast tissue removed and get implants. She said it's a way of "preventing" getting breast cancer. Is this true?

That scar is based on the tension that is involved with circumareolar lifts. It is largely not avoidable, it will recur with revision, and it not the fault of the surgeon. It is the limitation of the operation.
Thank you for your question. You will have to consider a breast lift and or reduction, but you may want to wait to do this until after you decide on how many kids you want to have as breast feeding may be affected. I hope this helps!
Sorry to hear about your concerns. First, concentrate on fully healing your surgery. Some settling will happen and, many times, once sutures dissolve the areolas can sometimes stretch. Keep your surgeon advised of all your concerns. You may want to wait at least 6 months...
