One doc told me it would only raise my hairline about 1-2 mm and that this wouldn't be noticeable. Is this true, or does it get raised significantly more? Thanks!

Answer: Endoscopic vs pretrichial brow-forehead lift The amount of hairline elevation from endoscopic brow/forehead lift depends on exactly what is done during the operation. Usually it raises more than 1-2 mm and it is not best if patient already has higher hairline. Another useful technique that does NOT raise the hairline (and in fact can lower it if desired) is pretrichial brow-forehead lift, with the incision hidden along the hairline in the temple area. This procedure can even be performed under local anesthesia.

Answer: Endoscopic forehead lift raises hairline much more than a few millimeters Endoscopic forehead lift raises hairline much more than a few millimeters That is why 35 years ago we invented the Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift which does not raise the hairline. It can Ctually lower the hairline if one wants while raising the brows. See an experienced surgeon for this.
