Will these ridges, folds, bumps 6 months after chin and neck lipo get better? (Photos)

I had chin and neck lipo with a doctor in bangalore 6 months ago. He has great reviews on this website which is why I chose him. There is and has been a lot of folds and dents which 6 months later are very much there. He doesn’t respond. I live in Spain and cannot go back to india. I’m worried that this won’t ever settle. Can any doctors give me their opinions on what I should do? Will it get better? Can a revision help?

My preference, is to have patients use a compression garment after liposuction under the chin.  Each surgeon will have their own preferences though.  I think it will be fine for you to use the compression garment that you have ordered, but it should be snug and not too tight.  You should be ab...

Each surgeon will have their own preferences for care after surgery.  I personally prefer to have my patients use a compression garment after liposuction of the neck (under the chin).  I do not think that tape on the skin would provide any compression though.

It will take a few months to have a better idea of the results from the liposuction under your chin.  There would still be some expected swelling present 5 days after the procedure, and this can cause you to appear worse than before the surgery.

It is safer to liposuction the superficial fat and not the subplatysmal fat.  In addition, it is probably best to avoid laser liposuction in this area since the skin is thin and the risk of irregularities or burns greater.  Standard or power assisted lipo is usually recommended.
