I see no difference 5 days post-op. Do you see a difference?

It will take a few months to have a better idea of the results from the liposuction under your chin.  There would still be some expected swelling present 5 days after the procedure, and this can cause you to appear worse than before the surgery.  

Five days is too soon to judge your neck liposuction results. Consider wearing your neck strap for 10-14 days, and certainly bring your concerns to the attention of your surgeon. Thank you. Dr Joseph

You are not even close to being healed yet. Everyone looks worse temporarily. You need to be thinking about this as a 6-month MINIMUM recovery phase. Liposuction takes patience and time, as tough as that can be. Just follow up with your surgeon as he/she directs, and you will see results (especially in photos) probably in the next few months. Thanks for writing,I don’t see a difference either. You are too early to evaluate you neck for results. Two to three weeks of time are necessary for tissue response to start showing. Particularly with laser lipo, you need more time to see the results. This is far too early to make a decision. Go back and talk to your surgeon, but expect that it will be some time before you see the end result. Many people are actually more swollen right after and are actually bigger than preop.
