After injecting 1ml of Voluma to cheeks, my Doctor very roughly massaged the product in for quite some time, which left me quite bruised and in some immediate pain due to the force used. Following I felt the product seemed to have been spread out and upwards, creating a longer upwards curve around the half point of my eye upto the edge of the lid. I’m nervous to return as everything I’ve read states massage gently, but would like to understand if there’s valid reasons to be heavy handed?
