I usually get Juvederm Vollure put in my lips twice a year. As I’ve gotten older, I’m actually appreciating the look of a less “large” lip, and more of a youthful slightly “plump” lip. I was thinking of getting Juvederm Volbella next time. Would this help achieve such results? I’ve read that it’s such a thin filler, so it’s usually injected superficially. Does that mean my surgeon should be injecting this more superficially on the lips too? Or is the technique the same?

Hello and thanks for your question. Some lumps after filler can be normal and settle quickly - if you are concerned about anything you should go straight back to your injector for a face to face examination. Always seek a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes
