These chin wrinkles are quite visible when I shut my lips because of the muscular effort that I have to do in order to accomplish that (I have a big smile). To be more precise, my chin looks like orange peel in those cases. What treatment would be the right one for my case? Thanks in advance!

Answer: Chin dimpling/wrinkle treatment Botox is typically an effective treatment for chin wrinkles that result from over-activation of the mentalis muscle. The reason this typically happens, at least in part, is a lack of chin projection. An alternative to botox as a long term solution is a chin implant, which will help to build up the chin, creating less need for this muscle activity in the first place. Fillers can be used to simulate a chin implant but tend to have less effect on the muscle activity than botox or an implant.

Answer: Botox is a great treatment for chin wrinkles Chin wrinkles often come from patients who are constantly contracting the chin muscle called the mentalis. Relaxing this muscle with Botox will help soften the orange skin or peau d'orange look and even a deep crease under the lower lip.
