Is it possible for "fake boobs" (breast augmentation) to actually look real?

answer is certainly yes, a breast augmentation can provide a natural looking
chest. Many of the breast augmentations which
I do look completely natural and no one could tell, without prior knowledge of
the patient, that in fact a breast augmentation was performed. The secret to a natural looking breast
augmentation is not to get too large implants.
If you are looking for a D or DD size breast, you will probably not have
a natural looking breast augmentation.

natural with breast augmentation. This
depends upon one’s anatomy, breast dimensions, amount of natural breast tissue, skin quality and the size of the implant. The shape
of the implant, round vs. anatomic, and implant dimensions (base width) may
also attribute to “fake” breasts. Careful discussion with one’s plastic surgeon should help in achieving “real”
looking breast augmentation in appropriate and realistic candidates.

Remithe crux of your question lies within your particular size, shape, anatomy AND your desires. In general the larger the implant combined with someone who is petite with little body fat, the more likelihood of an unnatural appearance. Factors such as implant location, under the muscle, and type of implant, do affect final outcome, shape and level of natural appearance. If you are truely a small C cup and desire a D cup, then a reasonable and natural outcome for you seems reasonable. Absolutely!  100% they can. Breast augmentation is common but great results aren't always.  A fake result is obvious for a few reasons: far too large; obvious round shape at top; capsule that distorts breast; rippling of the skin. These should be the rare exceptions not the norm. After breast augmentation breasts should be beautiful and natural looking. They should leave people wondering if they could possibly look that good on their own but never knowing the truth. Go to a reputable place. Find a surgeon that will customize your implants to meet your goals and match them to your body. High volume surgical centres is not the best. High quality is what you really want. Hello, from the dimensions provided, you sound like you have a very petite body frame yet your breasts already are not small.  Provided you choose a modest implant that fits well-within your current breast dimensions, the result may look natural.  Of course, large implants inserted into small breasts will tend to impart the "augmented" look you are describing.

The key to maintaining a natural look to the breast is having enough breast tissue to hide the implant and using a smaller rather than larger implant. There are many more complexities to maintaining a natural look, and you have to discuss these with a board-certified plastic surgeon so that they can understand your expectations of "natural".

In most cases if the change in size is big it will be noticeable however if you are already a C going a cup or two larger especially if there is enough breast tissue to camouflage the implant it shouldn't be that noticeable. Love these questions, if you want a big change its almost impossible no matter what anyone says for them to look and feel as if you were born with them, if you go with a super small natural change you would likely not be happy, fat is very natural but sounds like you dont have much fat to use. I would tell someone like you the goal is a natural look in clothes and that when naked it would be noticeable that the breasts were likely not the ones you were born with

This is a very achievable goal. Breast augmentations do not necessarily have to end up looking fake. Like everything in life, moderation is important. A natural breast shape is best achieved with modest size augmentations, regardless of initial breast size. The larger the implant, however, the more likely the breast will look unnaturally round with potential rippling and wrinkling of the skin over top of the implant. In any woman who has had children, it is very possible to augment the breast to a size that she had when she was nursing, while still maintaining a very natural shape.
