im 5'1 102lbs and im a 34b. I was told i could go from 375cc to 400cc at that point i was weighing at 110lbs. Ive had 3 kids so my boobs is not what i think they should be. I would like to go to a dd but kept getting told from other girls it will be too big and i should go for a small d. im getting silicon and i dont care if they look natural i kind of want the fake look just not over the top. if theres anyone with the same stats do u have any pics i could see?
Answer: Is DD to large? Thank you for your question. Without knowing your dimensions, physical exam, and pictures it is difficult to give you advice. I will make some general statements that I hope help. I believe it is important to choose an implant that fits your chest dimensionally well. Larger implants on women of shorter can tend to make them look heavier. To achieve a more " fake " look a higher profile implant is better. I hope this helps and best of luck

Answer: Is DD too much for a small frame? oldA Thank you for the question. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. Despite your good description of goals, online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. I would suggest that you schedule additional time to spend with your plastic surgeon communicating your goals, preferably prior to the date of surgery. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "DD cup” or "fake look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Is DD too much for a small frame? Hello,I recommend that you try on sizers in your Plastic Surgeon's office so that you can see and feel what the sizes would look like on you. Your Plastic Surgeon will be able to give you a range of profiles and volumes to try based on your measurements. Often, petite women find that it takes less volume than they expect to get that "DD" look. You should be able to find an option that is full and shapely, but safe and proportionate for your frame. All the best!

Answer: Is DD too much for small frame? One of the most difficult questions that I find that I am asked to answer as a plastic surgeon are questions of "cup" size before and after surgery. This is because cup sizes can vary widely from manufacturer to manufacturer and even among women, perceptions vary of what a certain cup size may be. Many plastic surgeons use sample/sizing implants or other sizing devices that you can place within a bra to get a rough estimation of what a certain cc may result for you, but keep in mind this is not a perfect gauge...it simply gets you in the right ballpark. Some surgeons also have imaging software that can give you an estimation of what you might look like. Personally, I prefer sizers. In the end, make sure you do what makes you, not your friends, happy. I think 375-400 would be perfectly fine for your frame. Best of luck with your surgery!

Answer: Is DD too much for a small frame? Thank you for your question, it is a difficult one to answer. Aesthetic surgery is a balance between a patient's desires and a physician's responsibility to inform a patient of its risks. I do hope that you are seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon who can help you choose the best implants that match your expectations to your body frame. Implant profile and sizing is dependent on many factors: your current breast width, skin elasticity, skin quality, etc. and your physician can tell you the associated risks that larger implants carry. It is important that you discuss your expectations with your surgeon so that you can work together to decide what will be best.
