Hi.. I got my lips done 3 and a half days ago with juverderm she out more in my top that bottom .. I bled quite a bit and bruised .. they are very bumpy but the white patch is worrying me will it go down?
Answer: White patch after lip fillers If fillers is placed superficially in the lip, it can make a "bubble" of filler that often looks like a white blister or bump. Thankfully, it is easy to fix. A small amount of hyaluronidase can be injected into the area, and the area will subside in a few hours. The bumps at 3 days are usually due to swelling around the filler; these should go away in a few more days. If not, these can also be reduced. Best of luck.

Answer: White Patch After Filler Swelling, bruising and lumps and bumps are common after Juvederm Lip Injections. It can take up to 2 weeks for the majority of the swelling to subside. Be patient! If the area in question does not improve sufficiently, then hyaluronidase may be injected to reverse the effects of the filler.Best of Luck,

Answer: Will this white lump on my lip disappear? Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your injection difficulties. The white patch you see should improve over the next 1.5-2.5 weeks as water softens the filler and smooths lumps and bumps. If after this time this area does not improve sufficiently, your injector can place a dissolving agent to reverse the effect. Hang in there!

Answer: White patch after Lip Fillers--Wait 2 weeks I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results, but this may be superficially placed filler. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!

Answer: Lip injections Thanks for the question, laurah. Directly after filler injections, there can be a period of "settling in" and allowing side effects such as swelling and bruising to subside. It is very important for new patients to understand the progression they can expect after lip injection. Lips are quite vascular and so swelling and bruising following injection can be normal. In fact, the swelling may be at its worse the morning after the injections, unless you choose to sleep with your head elevated on some pillows. In healthy patients, the swelling resolves completely in 2 weeks (in most cases). From your pictures, it looks like there's still some swelling and bruising present that will resolve over the next several days. The lighter spot you're noticing could be product that is lying superficially in the tissue. Your provider may suggest some gentle massage to help soften and smooth the product in that area. If you are not pleased with your results at 2-4 weeks, your Doctor can re-evaluate and discuss options with you. You are early in the process with your lip enhancement, so hopefully your ultimate result will be satisfactory. Health and Happiness, Dr. Hester
