Mini tummy tuck: skin only swelling, 2 weeks post-op.

Question

Hi I am 13 days post miny tummy tuck I only had excess skin removed as my muscle one is old and I didn't require any lipo of any kind. I had the procedure done under local and evening went smoothly just wondering how long it I likely for any swelling to subside. My scar I healing well :)

Congratulations on your procedure!  The majority of swelling will have resolved 3-6 months after surgery, though it will be longer for you to see your final results.  To promote optimal recovery be sure to closely follow your surgeon's post operative instructions and keep her/him aware of any concerns.
