They took my drain out 6 days ago and the hole closed. Lastnight I came out the shower and it had started to bleed dark watery blood. It's still bleeding now. I don't have anything that looks like a seroma. I'm actually healing well And my incision scar is fine. I'm going to the drs today to get it checked. I'm panicking reading all the stories on here about infections ect.

From the photos it doesn't look like active bleeding or infection, but something you want to have your surgeon take a look at.

Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. Based on your images, it does not appear you have an infection. Please follow up with your surgeon for a proper examination.

With dark watery blood, you have some tissue fluid still present, and it is dark because of recent surgery. It is actually good for it to drain. Please keep the area clean and covered and let your surgeon know.
