I am 6 weeks post mini TT with ab lipo. Will my post TT crease below navel spontaneously resolve? (photos)

It has been six weeks since your surgery and you still have a crease. Most creases resolve between 6-12 weeks. I would try to be patient for 6 more weeks. If the crease does not resolve at that time, have a frank conversation with your surgeon about revising the tummy tuck.

Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. At 6 weeks, you have yet too see your final results. At 6 months if your crease has not yet been resolved, I will suggest considering a full tummy tuck  procedure.

You are still early in your recovery from your mini tummy tuck. It can take several months for you to see your final results. If you do not see improvement of the crease that concerns you you may need to consider revision in the future. I encourage you to speak to your surgeon about your concerns as she/he knows the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Your crease might get better over time, but may not completely go away. You probably needed a full tummy tuck to remove all the excess skin. Later, on healed, your surgeon can revise each lateral side and pull more excess skin out with a longer incision.

It is hard to judge your procedure results without your before pictures, you need to consult your doctor to know what you can expect about your results but so far it looks like you probably needed a full tummy tuck. Good luck!
