There is a crease that extends from my navel to my scare. I am concern this may not correct itself. Even in the morning when swelling is minimal the crease is there ? Will this resolve on its own?
Answer: Six weeks post op You are still early in your recovery from your mini tummy tuck. It can take several months for you to see your final results. If you do not see improvement of the crease that concerns you you may need to consider revision in the future. I encourage you to speak to your surgeon about your concerns as she/he knows the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Answer: Abdomen Your crease might get better over time, but may not completely go away. You probably needed a full tummy tuck to remove all the excess skin. Later, on healed, your surgeon can revise each lateral side and pull more excess skin out with a longer incision.

Answer: Tummy Tuck Crease Thanks for the photo. It has been six weeks since your surgery and you still have a crease. Most creases resolve between 6-12 weeks. I would try to be patient for 6 more weeks. If the crease does not resolve at that time, have a frank conversation with your surgeon about revising the tummy tuck. Sorry for the difficulties and Good Luck.

Answer: Mini tummy tuck It is hard to judge your procedure results without your before pictures, you need to consult your doctor to know what you can expect about your results but so far it looks like you probably needed a full tummy tuck. Good luck!
