I had Motiva implants and was told they were high profile but really they're medium profile. Any suggestions?

If you are at all unhappy with your breasts following surgery, I recommend that you discuss this with your surgeon.Your surgeon can compare and contrast the different sizes and shape of breast implants with you.Also, the fact that the photo you showed says medium profile doesn't mean much. What is does mean is that the profile is in the middle of profiles FOR MOTIVA IMPLANTS. The differences in implants between different implant manufactures can be great. There is no industry standard for profile.

If you have concerns about the type of implant placed during your surgery the best thing is to meet with your surgeon to discuss your concerns and see where that gets you.  It is always better to get the details from your surgeon in person

Motiva implants are a fairly 'niche' product, not nearly as popular as Allergan or Mentor implants. Even if they are available in the UK I personally never used them, so I am not able to help with the characteristics their specific profiles. What I can say is that the fact that your breasts dropped is most likely unrelated to the profile of the implants but it is more probably an issue of size or possible specific uplift technique used. You didn't say if you have got a full uplift or a simple periareolar lift, for example.In any case, you should meet with your surgeon and discuss the reasons of your unhappiness with the results. There must have been some disruption in the communication with your surgeon, and you seem to have got a result that was totally unexpected. It could be a genuine surgical problem, that could be fixed, or a case of unrealistic expectations, which could never be satisfied. To find out more, you should definitely see your surgeon, and possibly have a second opinion.

Over the internet there is NOTHING we can offer but support for your issues. Best to return and ask your questions to the original surgeon.. There must have been a breakdown in communication somewhere? 

I don't know what was said during the consultation or prior to surgery.  If you have requested a high profile implant (or certain size) and you did not receive the ones that you requested and you are not happy with your result, you should talk with your plastic surgeon.  I would expect that your plastic surgeon would want to give you the best cosmetic outcome and make you happy with the result.  Talk to your plastic surgeon about your concern and ask about his/her financial policy.Best regards.
