Hi there! Im interested in the new preserve technique and was wondering if theres specific patients who are candidates for this? Can any size implant be used? Is It for first time breast augmentation or for people who want to exchange? Thank you.

Great question, the Motiva Preservé technique, affectionately known as the ballerina implant, is a genuinely exciting development in breast augmentation. Preservé uses a specialized system of to gently create a pocket by elongating the natural tissue, placing the implant above the muscle with a no-touch technique through a small incision. 
In terms of candidacy, it is best suited for patients who have never had breast implants placed previously and those looking for a small enhancement. While it can be combined with a modest lift in select cases, patients requiring significant lifting or larger volume changes may be better served by a traditional approach. @Nice385196 Thank you for your question! Preservé breast augmentations are fantastic for the right patient! As I'm sure you know this is a minimally invasive breast augmentation technique, it places a Motiva ergo implant above the chest muscles and maintains the natural ligamentous support of the breast. The max implant size that can be placed via this technique is 315cc. It is only recommended for patients who are undergoing their first breast surgery, as prior breast surgeries will have altered anatomy and disrupted the breast support ligaments that this procedure relies on. I recommend an inperson consultation to determine if Preservé is an option for you.
