After Tummy Tuck, I itch when I get into a chlorine pool?

I had a tummy tuck 2 yrs ago, ever since then when I get in my chlorine pool, I itch like hell and have to get out of my pool. I have been to allergist With no relief, any suggestions??? I itch all over my body for days, cortisone shots do nothing for relief. Please help Thank You

Is collagen safe to take before and after surgery?

I generally ask my patients to stop all supplements 10 days before surgery and 10 days after.  Multi-vitmains are fine as are collagen supplements.  It is always best however to check with your plastics surgeon to determine what your surgeons thoughts are.Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for reaching out. No is not normal to still be leaking fluid at this point. You should be seen by your surgeon immediately you may have an infection or just fluid buildup.   I hope this helps :-)
