Can Bellafill permanent filler be used for chin augmentation specifically increasing the vertical length of the chin?

Thanks for your question. Fillers can improve the  projection and width in the chin, but is less effective in increasing vertical height. Furthermore, the results obtained with implants are generally more dramatic than those obtained with filler alone.

Bellafill can be used to increase the length, width or projection of the chin. This non-surgical chin augmentation avoids many of the complications typically associated with traditional surgical chin enhancement. This treatment should be done by an experienced physician.

Yes, bellafill can be used for chin augmentation and I often use it combined with sculptra. Radiesse is another great alternative and fat injections can be used as well.  I suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon with experience in facial contouring.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Bellafill would be an excellent choice for chin augmentation as it stimulates collagen production and has an FDA approved 5 year indication.  

Fillers, including Bellafill can be used for visual corrections of small scale. Fillers will not significantly increase vertical length of the chin. For this, you will need implants. It is hard to give you more precise opinion without pictures. Maybe fillers could work for you to deliver your desired results. Best of luck!

Bellafill can be used for this area safely and effectively. Deep injections along the bone are the best way to do this.

Thanks for your question. Chin augmentation can certainly be achieved with dermal filler, and Bellafill can be used in this region. Usually you also relax the mentalis muscle with a small amount of Botox/Dysport/or Xeomin to further enhance the look. Most important is an experienced injector, preferably using a microcannula.
